FLC Group requests to study investment in 20,000 billion VND project in Quang Tri

On October 10, news from the People's Committee of Quang Tri province said that the province had just received a document proposing research and investment in the project from FLC Group Joint Stock Company.

FLC proposed to study the idea of ​​planning and investing in a complex of golf courses, conference centers, resort tourism, resort villas and high-end entertainment on a scale of about 700 hectares, with a total investment of about 20,000 billion VND in Trung Giang commune, Gio Linh district (Quang Tri).

This complex has main items such as a 36-hole golf course according to international standards, a conference center, luxury resort villas... FLC Group commits to invest quickly and complete the project according to the set goals and schedule.

Quang Tri province leaders said that according to regulations, the People's Committee of this province will assign relevant agencies to study FLC Group's proposal before agreeing and deciding.

In 2018, FLC Group was also granted investment policy by the People's Committee of Quang Tri province for a high-tech agricultural project on an area of ​​nearly 200 hectares in Cam Lo district.

This project with a total investment of 371 billion VND was expected to be completed and put into production by October 2020. However, after many years of sluggish implementation, the project was closed.

In Quang Binh, in 2016, FLC Group also started a project with a scale of nearly 2,000 hectares with a total investment of 20,000 billion VND.

After being launched, the FLC Quang Binh project has been vigorously implementing the construction of infrastructure for hotels, resorts and the largest golf course chain in Southeast Asia in phase 1, on a land fund of 2,000 hectares.

By phase 2, FLC Quang Binh has completed the basic infrastructure and put into construction housing, villas and an international conference center.

However, after nearly 8 years of implementation, the FLC Quang Binh project has only put into operation 2 36-hole golf courses and completed some coastal villa models. Other construction items are unfinished, along with the vast empty land that makes anyone who sees it regretful.
