At the end of March 27, the price of SJC gold bars was simultaneously adjusted by SJC, PNJ, and DOJI to VND97.4 million/tael for buying and VND98.9 million/tael for selling, an increase of VND500,000 per tael compared to the morning. In the past 3 days, the price of gold has increased by VND1.5 million.
The difference between buying and selling prices has been narrowed by businesses to about 1.5 million VND/tael.
Gold price exceeds 99 million VND/tael again
Notably, for the same 24K gold bars, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company listed Thang Long Dragon Gold buying at 97.6 million VND/tael, selling at 99.7 million VND/tael, an increase of 600,000 VND per tael compared to the morning.
PNJ Company sells PNJ brand gold bars for 99.4 million VND/tael. The price of gold bars of these enterprises is nearly a million VND higher than SJC gold bars.
The price of SJC gold bars and gold rings continues to soar
Similarly, SJC Gold Company traded 99.99 gold rings and jewelry at around VND97.2 million/tael for buying and VND98.7 million/tael for selling, an increase of half a million VND/tael compared to the morning. In the past 3 days, the price of gold rings also increased rapidly by nearly VND2 million/tael.
Some other brands such as PNJ gold rings were sold at 99.4 million VND/tael; Bao Tin Minh Chau sold over this mark, up to 99.7 million VND/tael.
The price of plain gold rings of many brands is much higher than that of SJC gold bars, and is approaching the peak of 100.4 million VND/tael.
Domestic gold prices increased rapidly following world prices. In the international market, gold prices continued to increase after surpassing the $3,000/ounce mark. At 5 p.m., Vietnam time, today's gold price was trading at $3,052/ounce, up about $20/ounce compared to the morning. Gold prices are also heading towards the all-time high of $3,054/ounce, which was set in mid-March.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 94.7 million VND/tael.
