On the morning of January 8, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province held a conference to review the Front's work in 2024 and agree on the action program for 2025. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung attended the conference.
In 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations at all levels in Ha Tinh promoted propaganda and mobilized people to actively respond to patriotic emulation movements and campaigns with appropriate and flexible forms, achieving many positive results.
The work of directing, guiding and organizing the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024 - 2029 term was carried out methodically and promptly, ensuring the correct progress, procedures and regulations, truly a broad political activity for the Vietnam Fatherland Front and all classes of people in the area.
Activities to participate in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas are being implemented with attention; activities for the poor and social security are being strengthened.
The campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" continues to be implemented in the direction of improving quality, focusing on substance, improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
The model of "Community Cultural House - House of Wisdom" continues to be replicated, in 2024, 43 models were launched, and to date, the whole province of Ha Tinh has built 193 effective models.
Activities for the poor, social security, and relief continued to receive attention and were effectively implemented. In 2024, more than 139 billion VND was mobilized, of which over 52 billion VND was in response to the emulation movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Ha Tinh province".
From mobilized resources, we have supported the construction of 539 houses worth more than 25 billion VND, supported 1,372 health insurance cards worth over 868 million VND... Coordinated with the Provincial Police to complete the construction and disbursement of 1,000 houses for poor households and households with housing difficulties from mobilized funding from the Ministry of Public Security, coordinated the construction of 103 houses worth more than 7.2 billion VND from the Steering Committee of 22 provinces.
The “For the Poor” Fund and social security resources at all levels in Ha Tinh have supported 1,311 poverty reduction livelihood models worth over 6 billion VND. With efforts in supporting sustainable livelihoods, the Fatherland Front at all levels has made an important contribution to ensuring social security and reducing the poverty rate of the province.
Social supervision and criticism activities are focused on, plans are developed from the beginning of the year, topics are selected that are close to the reality of each unit and locality, associated with the legitimate rights and interests of the people. The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels preside over the supervision of 258 topics; and coordinate the supervision of 510 meetings.
In addition, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Ha Tinh also focuses on strengthening the organization, innovating content and methods, improving the effectiveness of the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
Deploying the work of the Front in the coming time, delegates at the conference discussed and agreed on the action program for 2025, including 6 key contents.
In particular, at the conference, the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Fatherland Front Committee issued a plan for social supervision and criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and provincial-level socio-political organizations in 2025. Accordingly, regular supervision will be conducted on the cultivation and training of ethics and lifestyle of leaders, key officials, and party members, and supervision will be conducted on 4 specific and urgent topics.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations at all levels in 2024.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels must firmly grasp the guidelines and spirit of Resolution 18NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee on a number of issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations must promote their role in propaganda, mobilization, and coordination to ensure the success of the congress; launch and effectively implement emulation movements, campaigns, projects, and tasks to welcome party congresses at all levels.
On this occasion, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded excellent emulation flags to 6 units with many achievements in front work in 2024.
