This year, Hue University added one more teacher who met the standards for the title of Professor and 17 teachers who met the standards for the title of Associate Professor. Notably, among the 18 new Professors and Associate Professors of Hue University recognized by the State Council of Professors this time, there are 4 teachers under 40 years old. On this occasion, Hue University leaders also presented flowers and certificates of merit to the 4 teachers.

On behalf of 18 new professors and associate professors speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quang Lich, Head of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, shared his emotional thoughts.

Mr. Lich believes that this will be an important milestone marking the maturity and career development of all 18 teachers today; a great source of spiritual motivation for them to continue to diligently research, study, practice and contribute their small efforts to the construction and development of Hue University.

Thank you to our friends, colleagues, students and trainees who have always trusted, supported and shared difficulties throughout our long journey so that we could overcome difficulties and complete our scientific work", Associate Professor, Dr. Lich shared.

Relatives of teachers recognized as Professors and Associate Professors of Hue University were also present to celebrate.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Le Anh Phuong, Director of Hue University, sent his congratulations to 18 new Professors and Associate Professors of Hue University in 2023. Mr. Phuong hopes that in the coming time, the number of teachers of the unit recognized as Professors and Associate Professors will continue to increase, striving to reach 60% of staff achieving the title of Professor and Associate Professor, soon making Hue University a national university.
