Use effectively and for the right purpose
According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, land allocation and lease projects in the province have recently been actively and urgently implemented by investors. Many large projects, attracting a lot of labor, have been completed and put into operation, creating momentum, contributing significantly to promoting socio-economic development, creating jobs for workers, and revenue for the State budget, especially industrial and service projects.

Many urban infrastructure development projects were also implemented on time, contributing to the synchronous completion of urban infrastructure and increasing local budget revenue.
In general, projects with land allocation and land lease have been implemented in accordance with the approved and committed progress, many projects have been completed and put into effective use for the right purpose. Some projects in the production and business sectors have large-scale employment, contributing to creating jobs for local workers, increasing State budget revenue, creating momentum for socio-economic development and shifting the labor structure in a positive direction.
Resolutely reclaim slow-progressing projects
However, according to the Department of Planning and Investment, some projects after many years of approval, land allocation and land lease are still not implemented, leading to waste of land resources.
To ensure effective use of land resources, promptly remove difficulties for investors to speed up implementation progress, soon put projects into operation and production according to plan; rectify the management and use of land by organizations that are allocated land, lease land but do not put land into use or delay putting land into use according to the provisions of law, the Department of Planning and Investment has advised the Provincial People's Committee to establish Inspection Team No. 618 to inspect 41 projects with slow progress.

Thereby directing functional sectors and district-level People's Committees to focus on removing obstacles in site clearance, speeding up investment progress of projects that are eligible for implementation, are being implemented, projects with capable and experienced investors, and putting projects into operation soon; proactively coordinating with functional sectors to strengthen inspection and review of projects that have had decisions approving investment policies, assigned investors but are slow to implement, overdue implementation time and projects that have been approved for investment policies but are slow to complete procedures for land allocation, land lease, and change of land use purpose to have appropriate handling measures according to the provisions of law.
According to the Department of Planning and Investment, after inspecting many projects, the delegation requested investors to focus resources on implementing the projects and completing them into operation, such as: Song Lo 8A, 8B Hydropower Project, Song Lo 7 Hydropower Project; Project of Factory for manufacturing and trading all kinds of Platstic packaging and mechanical processing; Plywood factory in Long Binh An Industrial Park; Tarpulin factory; JW Agricultural Products Manufacturing and Processing Factory of Korean investors....
At the same time, the Department of Staff of the Provincial People's Committee approved the policy of announcing the termination of 29 projects. Among these are many projects with large total investment such as: High-tech milk processing factory project of TH Group Joint Stock Company, total investment of over 4,000 billion VND; Son Duong Eco-tourism and Sports Service Project (Area A) of FLC Group Joint Stock Company, total investment of over 3,400 billion VND...
Currently, to more closely manage land resources, the Provincial Working Group continues to review the progress of direct investment projects in the province, advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct the resolution of specific issues of each project, especially terminating operations and reclaiming land of projects that violate legal regulations on investment, land, construction... if eligible.
At the same time, strengthen supervision, monitoring, inspection and examination of land management and use for project investment implementation; promptly detect and advise the Provincial People's Committee to handle cases of slow progress in land use; do not let the situation of projects not putting land into use, prolonged slow progress without being detected and handled promptly according to regulations recur.
