At the meeting, delegates reviewed the 70-year tradition of the health sector and its outstanding achievements in recent times. At the same time, they expressed gratitude for the dedication of the medical staff, doctors and generations of physicians who have contributed to the effective implementation of public health care. Over the past 70 years of establishment and development, the provincial health sector has achieved many achievements in protecting and improving public health. Investment in medical facilities and equipment has been focused on. The quality of medical examination and treatment has been increasingly improved, with many new technical specialties being deployed and implemented. Preventive health care work has been implemented promptly and effectively.
Comrades: Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the title of Meritorious Physician to individuals.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee praised the achievements of the health sector in recent times; at the same time, deeply grateful for the efforts of generations of doctors in the cause of taking care of people's health. In the coming time, the health sector will continue to improve preventive medicine capacity; strengthen grassroots health care, meeting the needs of medical examination and treatment. In 2025 alone, the province will organize many important political and cultural events, which will attract many delegations and tourists; at the same time, the implementation of the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project will bring many experts and workers to the province to work.

Therefore, the health sector needs to continue to expand cooperation programs, improve the quality of health services and socialize health activities. Increase investment in upgrading equipment and infrastructure for district health centers and commune health stations; ensure that grassroots health care has enough qualified doctors and medical staff, especially in remote areas. Along with that, it is necessary to promote the transfer of technology from upper-level hospitals, while focusing on training to improve professional qualifications and foreign languages for the health workforce, creating conditions for the sector to develop further, better meeting the health care needs of the people...

On this occasion, authorized by the Government Office, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented a flower basket from Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to congratulate the Department of Health on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day. The Department of Health announced the President's Decision to confer the title of Meritorious Doctor to 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in the cause of protecting, caring for and improving people's health.
