Lang Son Department of Agriculture and Environment deploys tasks after merger

(TN&MT) - Director of Lang Son Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Huu Chien requested the leaders and staff of the Department to promptly approach the task, not letting work congestion affect people and businesses.

On the afternoon of March 1, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lang Son held a conference to announce the decision on the organization and personnel arrangement. Accordingly, the Department has 40 functions and tasks. After streamlining the organization according to regulations, the Department consists of 16 departments and affiliated units.

Speaking at the conference, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Huu Chien emphasized that the merger of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment into the Department of Agriculture and Environment is an important step to streamline the apparatus, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, and ensure close coordination between the two fields of agriculture and environment, but also poses many challenges for the industry.
