On the afternoon of December 28, the Department of Industry and Trade of Gia Lai province coordinated with the People's Committee of Krong Pa district and sponsors to organize a ceremony to present charity houses to households in especially difficult circumstances in Buon Ma Giai village (Dat Bang commune, Krong Pa district).

Accordingly, 5 houses were handed over to the families of Ra Lan Y Cau, Ho Ra Lan Thi Muoi, Ho Ra Lan Thi Se, Ho Ra Lan H'Tiep, Ho Le O H'Roan. Each house has an area of 30-45 m2 ; the total cost of 5 houses is 330 million VND.
This fund is contributed by civil servants and public employees of the Department of Industry and Trade and 4 enterprises operating in the production and business sector in the province (Quang Duc Export Trading Company; Branch of PV Oil Petroleum Joint Stock Company in Central Gia Lai; Nam Phuc Investment Joint Stock Company, North Tay Nguyen Petroleum Company Limited).

This not only demonstrates the responsibility of the Department to the community but also the common aspiration of all civil servants, public employees and employees of the Department of Industry and Trade, of enterprises operating in production and business in the field of Industry and Trade with the desire to share with people in difficult areas.
Responding to the policy of joining hands "For the poor" in 2024 of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the housing support program of the Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises launched. At the same time, understanding and sympathizing with the people here, the Department of Industry and Trade wishes to build a great national solidarity bloc, create more resources to help people with difficult economic conditions improve their housing, help poor households escape poverty, and sustainably reduce poverty.

Mr. Ho Van Thao said: Buon Ma Giai currently has 184 households with 747 people. The proportion of ethnic minorities accounts for 92.9%, mainly Cham and Jrai people. The village has particularly difficult economic conditions. At the end of 2023, the village still had 73 poor households, accounting for 39.7% and 51 near-poor households, accounting for 27.7%. Therefore, the support of the Department of Industry and Trade is of great significance, creating conditions for poor households in the village to rise up and stabilize their lives.
