Sending the dream of becoming an exemplary teacher through calligraphy
Nguyen Quoc Dat - a student of the Faculty of Literature, Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 - waited in line for more than 30 minutes in the sun before it was his turn to ask for calligraphy.
Being given the word "Pedagogy" by the "calligrapher", Quoc Dat said his dream is to become an exemplary teacher.
Receiving the calligraphy, Dat was moved to hold the calligraphy, waiting for the ink to dry before rolling it up and putting it in a tube. Quoc Dat said that he was from Tien Giang, his family is currently in Ho Chi Minh City, Dat is studying alone in Vinh Phuc, nearly 2,000 kilometers away from home.

His mother was from the North, so the literature student did not choose a teacher training college in the South near his home, but chose a school in the North. Partly, Dat wanted to experience and learn about the customs, habits, and life in the place where his mother was born. On the other hand, Dat wanted to be independent and trained to be more stable in life.
“I asked for the word “Pedagogy” because I love teaching. Normally, we students rarely have the opportunity to ask for calligraphy words. Tet is coming to the South, so this time I have to ask for the word of the ‘teacher’,” said Quoc Dat.

“I want you two to be happier, more tolerant and share more with each other to be happy as the meaning of this word” – Dat smiled.
Writing from morning to noon at the 2025 National Student Festival, "calligrapher" Tung Bay (Nguyen Thanh Tung) had sweat on his face as he looked up to ask about the students' wishes before putting down his pen.

“Each word they asked for had a specific wish. Today, they asked for the word “fortune” a lot because there are many students who are struggling and are trying hard to study” – Tung Bay said, appreciating each word he wrote for the students.
