Want a job in the right field, monthly salary 15 million

Arriving early, student Tran Tan Phat (IT major, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology) was curious and surprised by the technological devices. However, he was more interested and spent more time learning about the recruitment information of the businesses present at the fair.

Tan Phat wants to become a programmer in his field of study. He has done many related jobs, so he has set his own standards for his work. Phat's ideal job has a salary of around 15 million VND/month.

Another student, Nguyen Duy Tam, said he had been cultivating his professional knowledge since his first year. Tam's goal was to be able to catch the attention of large businesses.

Tam came to the festival with curiosity, wanting to know what the requirements of businesses for students were.

"The elimination market is quite fierce, I want to prepare early, right now even though I am only a first year. Therefore, I want to know more about the training program for IT interns, the professional requirements to gradually accumulate during the school years," Tam shared.

Businesses say "May have to work in a different field"

Mr. Vo Thanh Cong, director of Vo Hoang Trading and Investment Company Limited, said that the trend of recruiting human resources is becoming younger in some industries.

He said that fresh graduates are not usually the target of his company's recruitment, because technical positions always need people with long-term experience. "However, fresh graduates can still experience customer consulting positions and technology product retail to gain more knowledge," Mr. Cong shared.

Mr. Cong also advised students to experience small stages to visualize the nature of the work. When understanding the process, they can learn experience, techniques and some practical tips from real projects.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Cong Thanh (An Phat Commercial Computer Joint Stock Company) said that there are still many businesses that welcome students for internships and training. The condition is that you must be passionate, hard-working, and willing to learn even if it is a "left-handed" job.

Regarding salary, Mr. Do Ngoc Thach (Memory Zone Superfast IT Service Co., Ltd.) said that Gen Z needs to be alert and understand their own abilities.

To have an ideal salary of 10 million VND or more, you must be able to withstand high pressure as well as have a solid knowledge base and extensive work experience.

Mr. Thach suggested: "The economy is still in recession, young people can work in a different field to gradually accumulate, learn more and then return to their field of expertise. The more you accumulate, the more job opportunities will open up."
