In addition, some retail systems have received orders for Tet gifts ranging from several thousand to tens of thousands of gift baskets, to give to employees, workers, or to donate to charity at the end of the year...
In particular, Saigon Co.op has stockpiled essential goods early with a total value of 10,000 billion VND (supermarket system under Saigon Co.op nationwide). Particularly, the foodstuff group under the market stabilization program increased from 20-50% depending on the group of goods compared to the normal business month.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc, General Director of Saigon Co.op, said that since mid-2023, Saigon Co.op has been reserving essential goods to serve the peak season at the end of the year for 3 months before, during and after Tet 2024. Most of Saigon Co.op's budget is prioritized for stockpiling market stabilization goods, the rest is for other food and non-food items and Tet specialties.

For the Satra retail system (Satramart and Satrafoods), the total value of essential goods reserved for the 2 months before and after Tet Giap Thin 2024 is expected to be over 550 billion VND, an increase of 10% compared to Tet 2023.
Goods supplied to the market are strictly screened, ensuring quality and reasonable prices; there are no cases of increased prices, poor quality, or shortages of goods... In particular, the reserve of stabilized goods increased from 6% to more than 14% depending on the group. Satra expects high purchasing power in the group of fresh foods, meats, beer, soft drinks...
“Satra has also worked with suppliers and signed a commitment not to increase prices, ensuring a stable and quality source of goods before, during and after Tet,” said Ms. Pham Thi Van, Deputy General Director of Satra.

This year, the Satra Giap Thin 2024 Tet gift basket models are quite diverse, with prices ranging from 169,000 VND to 3 million VND/gift basket. In addition, the system also makes gift baskets according to customer requests.
According to supermarkets, the source of goods is abundantly prepared, with specialty items from all regions (North, Central, South). Preliminary statistics from large supermarkets show that domestic goods are "covering" over 90% of items...
Ms. Tran Kim Nga, Director of External Relations of MM Mega Market Vietnam, said that purchasing power at the system is increasing compared to the same period last year, but the value of goods is lower, because consumers tend to spend more economically.
A few days ago, MM Mega Market Vietnam received an order from a domestic enterprise of more than 10,000 Tet gift baskets. In addition, a number of other units also had quite large orders to give to employees, do charity work at the end of the year...

Currently, MM Mega Market Vietnam is implementing the program "Defeat inflation, buy stable products, save smartly" with more than 1,000 price-stabilized products. The system also increases the total amount of Tet goods reserves by 20%-30%, continuously working with suppliers to balance the source of goods, bringing consumers quality products at the most stable prices.
Similarly, the supermarket system GO!, Big C (belonging to Central Retail Group), has also implemented many good price programs since September, at the same time, the unit signed an agreement with a partner to supply goods for Tet with a 20% increase in goods compared to the same period.
