Sa Pa: 123 grassroots unions implement the "Green Friday" model

Implementing the Project "Building a clean Sa Pa urban area", phase 2023 - 2025 of Sa Pa Town Party Committee, Sa Pa Town Labor Federation has organized propaganda, mobilized cadres, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers to commit to implementing the criteria for urban and rural construction, the goal is to raise awareness, ensure the aesthetics of houses, headquarters, business establishments, public spaces; minimize waste discharge causing environmental pollution, minimize violations of urban - rural order.

The grassroots union coordinates with professional counterparts to mobilize union members and workers to participate in cleaning up workplaces and businesses every Friday afternoon.

In particular, 123/123 grassroots trade unions under the Sa Pa Town Labor Federation have built and seriously implemented the "Green Friday" model. Accordingly, at the end of working hours every Friday, for about 60 minutes, grassroots trade unions coordinate with their professional counterparts to mobilize all cadres, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers to carry out environmental sanitation work at the headquarters of agencies, units, and enterprises; plant, care for, and trim trees, flowers, and ornamental plants to build a bright, green, clean, and beautiful campus.

In addition to cleaning, union members and workers also arrange and decorate flowers and ornamental plants to create a clean and beautiful campus.

The above approach has actively contributed to the implementation of the Project "Building a clean Sa Pa urban area", at the same time building agencies, units and enterprises that meet cultural standards.
