Total state budget revenue in Lao Cai province in the first quarter of 2025 reached 3,254 billion VND, equal to 33.1% of the central budget estimate, equal to 21% of the provincial People's Committee's estimate assigned in Decision No. 3268/QD-UBND dated December 10, 2024 on assigning socio-economic development plan targets, public investment and state budget estimates for 2025 of Lao Cai province, equal to 157.2% of the same period last year.

Of which, domestic revenue reached 2,984 billion VND, equal to 34.8% of the central budget, 23.5% of the provincial budget, and 164.5% of the same period last year, including: Revenue from taxes, fees, and other revenues reached 1,624 billion VND, equal to 27.3% of the central budget, 19.8% of the provincial budget, and 119.1% of the same period last year; land use fee revenue reached 1,360 billion VND, equal to 51.9% of the central budget, 30.2% of the provincial budget, and 301.7% of the same period last year.

Revenue from import-export activities reached 270 billion VND, equal to 21.6% of the central budget, 9.6% of the provincial budget, and 105.5% over the same period last year.
