Mo De Bamboo Forest is a familiar destination for tourists, with many photo angles "like in swordplay movies".

According to local guide Mua A Giang, the bamboo forest is about 80 years old. Initially, the bamboo here was planted to build houses, fence roads, and make water troughs. Now the forest has been expanded and developed into a tourist destination, with an area of about 3 hectares.

There are two roads from the town center to Mo De bamboo forest. The road is not easy to travel because it is narrow, steep and high. "If tourists are inexperienced and have poor driving skills, they should hire a local motorbike taxi to ensure safety," said A Giang.
The price of a motorbike taxi from the center is from 100,000 VND to 150,000 VND per person for a round trip. The entrance fee to the bamboo forest is 20,000 VND.
To enter the forest, visitors will go through a small path, then follow the stairs to go down (photo). The dirt road, the wild path up, brings a feeling of closeness to nature.

The bamboo in the forest is tall and planted close together. When looking up at the treetops, visitors will see a mysterious scene. The air in the forest is fresh and quiet, and you can clearly hear the birds singing.

The path in the forest is gently sloping, with some flat sections and areas with connecting trails for movement. Flat areas are chosen by tourists to pose for photos.

The gurgling water in the forest creates a lyrical scene. Many sections will have bridges crossing.

Many miniatures are built in the forest such as swings, heart models, traditional Mong flute or models of the Moon, bird nests, and bamboo tables and chairs.

Walking in the forest, sometimes visitors will encounter strange mushrooms. "Usually mushrooms will have bright colors like red or yellow and most of them are poisonous, you should not touch them," said A Giang.

Right at the entrance of the bamboo forest is a house for visitors to rest, drink water and rent costumes.

Costume rental prices range from 50,000 VND to 80,000 VND per set, per time. There are swordplay costumes, Mong costumes and props for taking photos.
"There are not many men's clothes, mainly women's. There are changing rooms with lights and mirrors," A Giang added.

Visitors usually spend 30 minutes to an hour experiencing it. "The forest scene is like in a movie," commented a tourist from Hanoi.

Visitors should come to the bamboo forest in the morning or afternoon, when it is sunny, to catch the rays of sunlight filtering through the forest, creating a magical scene. Do not come when it is raining.
"The road is difficult but the experience when you get there is quite great," said a female tourist from Hanoi.
