For Vietnamese people in general and Ha Tinh in particular, Tet Nguyen Dan is a meaningful holiday. This is the time when people who live far away return home to reunite, gather warmly with their families, and perform traditional cultural and spiritual rituals. Thereby, opening a new year with many aspirations. Tet is also the beginning of spring, when flowers bloom, all things grow, awakening in people's hearts the joy of connection. Therefore, along with "fatty meat, pickled onions", peach blossoms, apricot blossoms... spring trips with family and friends to explore scenic spots have become a beautiful custom of many people.
Ms. Tran Thi Ha (a teacher in Loc Ha) said: “Every New Year, spring trips to explore famous landscapes and tourist attractions are an indispensable “menu” for our family. However, in recent years, due to many factors, we have not been able to do so. This year, life has stabilized again, we are eagerly planning for the whole family to go out for Tet. In the near future, during the Giap Thin Spring Festival 2024, we will visit tourist attractions in the province.”

For young people, spring trips have a different meaning when they are immersed in traditional culture with friends and relatives. Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu (from Can Loc, a final year student at a university in Ho Chi Minh City) expressed: “Every Tet holiday, I really enjoy exploring scenic spots with my close friends, not only understanding more about my hometown culture but also becoming a “tourism ambassador”, introducing destinations in my hometown to friends from all over the world through social media accounts. This year, I had an early Tet holiday, so I planned to visit Huong Tich Pagoda and Nguyen Du Relic Site with some friends.”

In recent years, with investment in many aspects, scenic spots and historical relics in Ha Tinh have also attracted tourists from other provinces during the Tet holiday. Ms. Le Diep (22 years old, from Yen Thanh, Nghe An) said: “Recently, my family and I had the opportunity to visit some tourist areas and spots in Ha Tinh, including Da Bac Eco-tourism Area (Nam Dien Commune, Thach Ha). It can be considered a “preparatory” trip for this Lunar New Year, when I will go to Ha Tinh with my friends for a spring trip. In addition to Da Bac Eco, there are many destinations that we want to visit such as: Huong Tich Pagoda, Nguyen Du Relic Site, Ke Go Lake, Che Thang Temple, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bich Chau...”.

To attract more out-of-province tourists, many tourist areas and spots have renewed themselves by investing in renovation, adding tourism services and products, serving the diverse needs of the people. Mr. Tran Cong Dinh - Head of the Management Board of the Che Thang Temple Relic Site, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bich Chau (Ky Anh Town) said: "To serve tourists during Tet and the spring festival season, we have implemented many tasks such as: renovating facilities, coordinating to ensure security and order, fire prevention and fighting, perfecting the team of priests performing ceremonies... In particular, the bridge and the flower lantern release dock are decorated with a system of lights and flowers, which is also a beautiful check-in spot for tourists".
This year, many tourist areas and spots have also launched many attractive tourism products to serve visitors. In particular, with a space of 5 hectares, Da Bac Eco-tourism Area has many new products such as: koi pond waterfall, grass sledding yard, rattan house, electric car service.

Located on the legendary Hong Mountain, Huong Tich Pagoda (Thien Loc Commune, Can Loc) is an attractive tourist destination for visitors from all over the world every time Tet comes and spring comes. To serve visitors during the festival season, the Management Board of Huong Tich Pagoda Tourist Area has built many check-in points on the way to the pagoda such as: buckwheat flower hill, yellow mustard flower, small park next to the cable car station, purple mua flower garden, cherry blossoms... Besides, visitors can experience shopping at the booth displaying OCOP products, local agricultural products; visit the exhibition area displaying the cultural heritage system of Can Loc district; join the package tour to visit Huong Tich Pagoda with the accompaniment of a tour guide knowledgeable about the history and cultural values of "Hoan Chau's most famous landscape"...

At the same time, we have built a number of products for the first time to serve visitors on the occasion of Lunar New Year, Giap Thin Spring 2024 such as: creating miniature landscapes, costumes for visitors to transform into characters in the Tale of Kieu, a space for writing according to ancient culture, a garden displaying paintings about the Tale of Kieu...".
