
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan, leaders of ministries, departments, branches and Bac Ninh province attended and cut the ribbon to inaugurate.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Hoang Hiep highly appreciated Dabaco Vietnam Group's investment in infrastructure, construction of a modern veterinary vaccine factory, certified for Good Manufacturing Practices according to World Health Organization (GMP-WHO) standards; investment in a modern laboratory and assessed by the Ministry of Health to have achieved biosafety level III; on that basis, Dabaco Vietnam Group has coordinated with US experts and Vietnamese agencies to organize research, production, thorough evaluation and licensing of commercial circulation of Dacovac-ASF2 vaccine.
This result is an important and authentic demonstration of the realization of the Party and State's guiding spirit on science and technology, innovation; the close and effective coordination between Dabaco Vietnam Group, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, scientists and international partners in recent years.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Hiep highly appreciated Bac Ninh province for accompanying and supporting the project, contributing to making biotechnology a highlight of the locality and the agricultural sector. Affirming the 3F+ vision (including Feed - Farm Food & Future) of Dabaco Group towards a sustainable development ecosystem and regional market, Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Hiep said that this is an orientation in line with the strategy of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment in developing green agriculture, applying high technology to improve competitiveness and international integration.
The Deputy Minister hoped that Bac Ninh province, Dabaco Group and related units would continue to coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to expand vaccine production for livestock and poultry diseases; support farmers to access vaccines at reasonable costs; and improve disease prevention skills; at the same time, the Ministry will continue to support the project to develop sustainably, contributing to the achievement of the goals of the agricultural sector.

Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that Bac Ninh province always identifies biotechnology as one of the pillars to promote sustainable socio-economic development. DACOVET vaccine factory is an important first step, opening a new direction for the livestock industry, not only in Bac Ninh but also nationwide.
The successful research and production of a vaccine against African swine fever demonstrates the scientific and technological mastery of Vietnamese enterprises, contributing to providing sustainable solutions, helping farmers stabilize production and develop the economy.
Along with that, the inauguration of the DACOVET Vaccine Factory is also a testament to the strong development of the domestic veterinary vaccine industry, reducing dependence on imported sources; at the same time, creating products with high added value and affirming our country's position on the world biotechnology map.
DACOVET Vaccine Factory has a total investment of over 300 billion VND, a capacity of 200 million doses/year, and is the 12th vaccine factory in Vietnam. The factory is equipped with modern production lines imported from the US, Germany, and Japan; a fully automatic vial loading and unloading system for freeze-drying machines; an automatic packaging system and strict quality control, ensuring that 100% of products are inspected for sensory inspection and leakage before being released to the market... The production line of DACOVET Vaccine Factory has been granted a GMP-WHO certificate for good manufacturing practices.
The African swine fever vaccine Dacovac-ASF2, transferred by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is the result of a long process of careful, scientific research and testing under the strict supervision of specialized veterinary management agencies, confirming its safety, effectiveness and efficiency.
