The 43rd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee, scheduled to take place from March 10-11 and the afternoon of March 14, will give opinions on five draft laws and on reducing land rent in 2024.
The National Assembly Office said that as planned, the 43rd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place over 2.5 days, from March 10-11, 2025 and the afternoon of March 14, 2025, at the Tan Trao meeting room, National Assembly House.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man delivered the opening speech and together with the Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly took turns chairing the content of the session.
At this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on five draft laws, including the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Product and Goods Quality; the Law on Railways (amended); the Law on Personal Data Protection; the Law on State of Emergency; and the Law on Participation in United Nations Peacekeeping Forces.
In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider the draft Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on explaining the provisions on the standards of "clean and strong party and mass organizations" in the Law on Emulation and Commendation.
The National Assembly Standing Committee also gave opinions on explaining, accepting and revising three draft laws, including the Law on Special Consumption Tax (amended); the Law on Corporate Income Tax (amended); and the Law on Management and Investment of State Capital in Enterprises.
Regarding supervision work, the National Assembly Standing Committee will review the National Assembly's Report on People's Aspirations in February 2025.
The National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the reduction of land rent in 2024 and the issuance of a Government Decree regulating the reduction of land rent in 2024.
At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the summary of the 9th extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly.
