After nearly 1 month of releasing the iOS 17.5.1 update to fix the bug related to users' deleted photos suddenly reappearing, Apple has released two consecutive iOS 17.6 betas.
iOS 17.6 introduces a brand new feature for sports fans in the TV app, Catch Up, which lets you watch some of the best highlights of a match in progress so you can catch up even if you miss the beginning.
iOS 17.6 focuses on stability and performance improvements and is expected to be the last major update for iOS 17.
The iOS 17.6 beta2 update brings a new Messages app setting that allows users to filter unknown senders if they are international senders.
So, iOS 18 and iOS 17.6 are now available as developer betas. However, users can only install one version on their device.
To update iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 beta 2 developers need to access the Settings app - Software Update - Beta Update - Activate iOS 17/ iPadOS 15 Developer Beta.
Note: The Apple ID needs to be associated with a developer account.
