Focus on implementing 108 tasks on economic growth

For the industrial sector, 35 tasks will be implemented, focusing on site clearance; completing the extension of mining licenses; developing plans to provide sufficient raw materials for factories to operate; supporting hydropower projects affected by storm No. 3 to resume operations; completing construction design documents; adjusting investment policies; approving detailed construction plans...

In the construction sector, there are 14 key tasks such as: Speeding up the adjustment of the General Planning of the Border Gate Economic Zone; completing the planning scheme of the Lao Cai City Zoning Plan; completing 100% of the plan to eliminate temporary housing.

Besides, the province will complete 33 tasks in the field of tourism - services, 17 tasks in budget collection.

At the regular meeting, Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong said that to ensure double-digit growth, the key task that needs to be resolutely implemented is site clearance for mineral exploitation projects. For those who deliberately resist, we will resolutely enforce the project to put it into operation soon, avoiding waste.

Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong also requested to focus on removing difficulties for hydropower projects in terms of administrative procedures and planning; implementing solutions to attract tourists from China; developing logistics and implementing key projects, including the 500 kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen power line project.
