According to the latest report from Bloomberg, iOS 19 could bring about the biggest change to the iPhone experience in the last 12 years. Specifically, iOS 19 represents a revolution in the design philosophy of the mobile operating system on the iPhone.

Journalist Mark Gurman revealed that iOS 19 is one of the most impressive software improvements in iPhone history, with fundamental changes to the user interface. It could also be the biggest software update since iOS 7, with many important features such as a redesigned Control Center and Siri.

One of the biggest changes might be the Camera app, with an interface inspired by visionOS. New apps like Invites, Apple Sports, and Apple Playground also have a more modern look, using transparency effects, dynamic buttons, and a design optimized for content.

Instead of focusing on Apple Intelligence, the upcoming Apple event will primarily emphasize a design overhaul. With iOS 19, Apple will need to catch up with AI features, and design changes could be a way to divert attention from this issue.
