Many activities to create a spring reading atmosphere took place such as displaying information resources to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025); displaying paintings, photos, and entries for the Da Nang Reading Culture Ambassador Contest each year; organizing talk shows, seminars to introduce books and exchanges between cultural figures, scientists, writers, experts and readers; and book promotion contests.

In particular, people can participate in launching a movement to support books, donate books to reading rooms and community learning centers. The festival includes discount programs and gifts for readers when buying books.

At the opening ceremony, Ms. Vu Thi An, Deputy Director of the Da Nang General Science Library, said that the “Da Nang Reading Culture Festival” aims to form reading habits, reading skills, self-study and self-research for all subjects, especially teenagers. Through seminars and talks, the festival is an activity to honor and affirm the importance of books in social life. From there, it helps build a reading movement, raise people's awareness and develop a reading culture in the community.
