This is the 11th time the award has taken place, with the Jury consisting of professional representatives of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
The photo contest also contributes to further promoting the images of nature, country, people, especially tangible and intangible heritages of Vietnam.
This year, the Heritage Photography Award - Heritage Journey 2025 continues to be accompanied by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, sponsoring the Gold - Silver - Bronze medals at the regional level according to the Association's Regulations.

According to the 2025 competition rules, there will be 4 competition categories and 12 prizes of Vietnam Airlines tickets for the best winning photo collections. Photo tours organized within the framework of the competition will also be carried out with the support of sponsors such as Land Rover Vietnam, Sony Vietnam, Bay Viet and a number of programs will continue to be carried out during the photo competition. The final exhibition is expected to be held in September in Hanoi.
The four competition categories include Culture - Heritage, Destination Tourism (domestic/international) - Landscape, Lifestyle - Human Portrait, Special shooting techniques: drone, macro, underwater photography.
The contest lasts for 4 months, starting from April 1st to July 31st.
Each competition category will select 3 prizes, including: 1 Special prize for each competition category (excellent in both photo reportage and cover photo plan); 1 Set prize for each competition category (excellent in photo set); 1 Cover prize for each competition category (excellent in cover photo plan).
Regarding the award structure, the 4 competition categories will include 12 prizes: 4 Special prizes, each prize includes 2 international round-trip tickets within the Vietnam Airlines flight network; 4 Set prizes, each prize includes 4 domestic round-trip tickets within the Vietnam Airlines flight network; 4 Cover prizes, each prize includes 2 domestic round-trip tickets within the Vietnam Airlines flight network.
Regarding the medals of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, there is 1 Gold Medal, 1 Silver Medal and 1 Bronze Medal.
