On the morning of March 20 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Information and Communications coordinated with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and relevant agencies to organize the photo and video contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2024." This is one of the key activities of the series of media events - exhibitions on human rights in Vietnam 2024. The contest was launched nationwide to attract the participation of a large number of authors across the country. Authors, both professional and non-professional, Vietnamese and foreigners, at home or abroad, can participate. The goal of the contest is to discover and honor meaningful moments and stories about all aspects of Vietnam's political, economic, cultural and social life through photo and video works to vividly affirm the achievements that Vietnam has achieved in the field of human rights. The contest also aims to mobilize the combined strength of all classes of people in the country, the Vietnamese community abroad and international friends in the work of communication, promoting the image of the country and Vietnamese people to the world in order to affirm to the world that Vietnam is a peaceful, beautiful country, developing dynamically and is a happy country. The entries have a high promotional value on the image of the country, Vietnamese people, cultural and natural values throughout the country; arouse national pride and the desire for development in all classes of people to join hands in building Vietnam to be more and more prosperous, prosperous and happy. The works must truthfully and vividly reflect the development achievements in all aspects of political, economic, cultural and social life of Vietnam, especially in the process of innovation, development and international integration; Convey valuable knowledge, attract strong public interest and have a wide spread at home and abroad. According to the Organizing Committee, the entries must have been composed from January 1, 2022 to the time of receiving the entries and have never been submitted to or won any previous contests or exhibitions. About 100 - 150 entries that make it to the Final Round will be selected by the Organizing Committee to display in an exhibition to serve foreign information work at home and abroad.
