Ca Mau Fertilizer reduces emissions and saves energy

Ca Mau Nitrogenous Fertilizer Plant is striving to fulfill its commitment to reduce emissions, aiming for "zero" emissions by 2050.

Diverse solutions to reduce emissions and energy consumption

In addition to reducing emissions, the company also constantly increases energy savings. Since 2012, the company has applied many solutions to reduce energy consumption and increase factory capacity. Accordingly, the result is a reduction equivalent to 12% of total energy consumption in fertilizer production, the factory capacity operates at 115 - 116% load.

These efforts were recognized in 2022 when the company was recognized by Haldor Topsoe - a prestigious environmental organization - as being in the Top 10% of factories with the lowest energy consumption in the world, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable development and environmental responsibility.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Deputy General Director of Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, shared: "Reducing energy consumption is always an important goal of Ca Mau Fertilizer.

This has been done since the establishment stage and has contributed greatly to the production and business results; this is also an action to realize the company's sustainable development strategy."

Applying high technology to reduce emissions

Ca Mau NPK fertilizer group - the only exclusive Poly Phosphate technology in Vietnam is produced on the basis of liquid urea, thereby helping plants absorb nutrients effectively, limit nutrient loss, save cultivation costs and contribute to minimizing environmental impact.

Complex mineral fertilizers and single fertilizers: DAP Ca Mau, Kali Ca Mau and especially nitrogen types supplemented with biostimulants or beneficial microorganisms for plants such as N46.Plus, N46.True, N46.C+, N.Humate+TE, Urea Bio Ca Mau help save fertilizer, increase productivity, suitable for agricultural production, reduce greenhouse gas emissions while still bringing high economic efficiency to farmers.

OM CAMAU organic fertilizer group is produced from high-quality raw materials containing high effective organic content, organic essence including amino acids, humic acid and fulvic acid, with a balanced ratio of nitrogen - phosphorus - potassium, helping plants increase nutrient absorption and increase resistance.
