Social criticism of the Northern Urban Area project of Ring Road 2

On the afternoon of March 21, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a conference on social criticism of the Urban Area project north of Ring Road 2 (Vinh Yen). Comrade Bui Thi Thu Hang, Provincial Party Committee member, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference.

The Northern Urban Area Project of Ring Road 2 has a scale of 105.95 hectares, located in Khai Quang, Lien Bao and Dinh Trung wards (Vinh Yen), invested in complete construction with real estate and commercial services products in many segments including residential land (townhouses, villas, high-rise apartments, social housing, resettlement land), commercial - service land (clubhouse, commercial center combined with tourism activities and office business...), public works land (cultural parks, entertainment...), educational land (inter-level schools), cultural land and medical land.

The project's real estate products contribute to promoting urban development of Vinh Yen city and creating a common growth momentum for Vinh Phuc province.

At the conference, delegates highly agreed on the necessity of investing in project construction; focused on discussing and evaluating the project's socio-economic impacts and efficiency, and related financial, land, investment and construction issues according to current regulations.

Propose to give specific name to urban area; clarify location and parameters of some items such as external traffic routes, ratio, social housing area...; consider and adjust project progress to ensure on-schedule implementation.

Reassess population size; develop housing plans for people whose land is recovered for the project; clarify the current land use status according to the proposal documents and procedures for compensation, site clearance and resettlement; review and compare the division of component projects...

Concluding the conference, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Bui Thi Thu Hang acknowledged that all the contributions were dedicated, responsible and valuable. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received and synthesized the report to send to the agency requesting feedback according to regulations.
