Reports also reveal that the Find N5 will be the first foldable phone to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, offering high-end performance.
In a Weibo post, leaker Smart Pikachu claimed that Oppo's next foldable phone will come with a 6,000 mAh battery, which will provide extended battery life and support wireless charging and satellite communication. It will also feature an improved drop and abrasion resistant design and IPX8 water resistance.
Previously, it was revealed that Oppo Find N5 is equipped with a 6.4-inch external screen, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate to help bring a smooth viewing experience. It is expected that when opened, the device will have a spacious 8-inch main screen with sharp 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate suitable for playing games, watching videos or multitasking.
In addition, the Find N5 folding phone prototype has a design language that has not changed much compared to its predecessor model but has a larger screen. The rear camera module is placed in the center in a circular layout, a triple-lens camera with a 50MP main camera from Sony, combined with two additional 50MP cameras including a periscope telephoto lens.
The device has a maximum configuration of 16GB of RAM and internal memory of up to 1TB. It is expected that the device will be pre-installed with Android 15 operating system with ColorOS 15 user interface when launched.
