Mr. Vo Tan Duc was elected Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee.

On August 19, Dong Nai Provincial People's Council held the 19th session, a thematic session of the 10th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, to decide on personnel work under the authority of the Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Council Thai Bao, on behalf of the Provincial People's Council, presented the Proposal to introduce the candidates for the election of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term X, 2021-2026, for Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc.

With 100% of votes in agreement, the Provincial People's Council elected Mr. Vo Tan Duc to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 10th term, 2021-2026.

Mr. Vo Tan Duc was born in 1970, from Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province. He has the following qualifications: Master of Construction Management, Bachelor of National Economic Planning, Bachelor of Finance and Accounting, and Senior in Political Theory.

Mr. Vo Tan Duc has held the following positions: Vice Chairman of Nhon Trach District People's Committee; Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of Long Thanh District People's Committee; was elected Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the end of 2020.

On August 2, 2023, the Prime Minister assigned the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term to Mr. Vo Tan Duc.

Thus, the current Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee includes: Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and 3 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Mr. Nguyen Son Hung, Mr. Vo Van Phi and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang.
