On the afternoon of April 19, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac received a delegation from the Chinese Ministry of Justice led by Party Central Committee member, Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission member, Chinese Minister of Justice Ha Vinh, who is visiting and working in Vietnam.
Mr. Phan Dinh Trac welcomed the visit of the Chinese Ministry of Justice Delegation to Vietnam with the aim of promptly concretizing the common perception between the two General Secretaries of the two Parties and the contents of cooperation in the field of justice and law stated in the Vietnam - China Joint Statement in 2022 and 2023.
Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac highly appreciated the results of cooperation between the two countries' Ministries of Justice in recent times and the talks between the two countries' Ministers of Justice, especially the directions and measures to promote cooperation between the two countries in the fields of law and justice.
Mr. Phan Dinh Trac emphasized that Vietnam always attaches importance to consolidating and developing the Vietnam-China relationship, is ready to work with China to promote new heights of bilateral relations, and effectively implement high-level common perceptions, joint statements and cooperation documents signed between the two sides, including in the fields of justice and law.
From there, he suggested that the two sides increase sharing of theoretical research results and summarizing practices in building a socialist rule-of-law state, judicial reform, preventing and combating corruption, controlling power, and combating group interests in law-making, serving the cause of the two Parties and two countries.
The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission highly appreciated the two sides' agreement to establish a judicial conference mechanism for provinces sharing the Vietnam-China border.
Chinese Minister of Justice Ha Vinh emphasized that the visit aims to implement the high-level common perception reached between the two General Secretaries of the two Parties and the Vietnam-China Joint Statement, including contents on judicial and legal cooperation.
Expressing agreement with Vietnam's proposals, the Chinese Minister of Justice said that strengthening cooperation between the two Ministries of Justice in particular and in the judicial and legal fields in general is an important content in cooperation between the two countries; especially after the two sides agreed to deepen and elevate the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and build the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future.
The Chinese Ministry of Justice is ready to work with the Central Commission for Internal Affairs and relevant agencies of Vietnam to thoroughly implement the high-level common awareness and signed documents, bringing more positive and substantive results to the cooperation between the two sides in the judicial and legal fields.
The two sides will strengthen exchanges and cooperation in areas such as governing the country according to law and building a socialist rule-of-law state.
China is ready to deepen practical cooperation with Vietnam.
