Da Nang needs to promote the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to innovate and daring to take responsibility.

In the morning, the delegation worked with the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee, listening to Comrade Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee, report on the situation and results of 40 years of implementing the Party's innovation policy in the locality; the implementation of socio-economic development tasks for the 13th Congress term (2021-2025); the work of building and rectifying the Party, a clean and strong political system; and orientations for continued innovation of the city in the coming time.

The members of the Working Group and the members of the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee exchanged, discussed, clarified the results, achievements and analyzed the causes leading to the limitations, weaknesses, errors and violations in the past time.

Concluding the survey and working session, comrade Phan Dinh Trac acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of the Party Committee and People of Da Nang City over 40 years of implementing the renovation policy; the results of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress in the locality.

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac emphasized that Da Nang is a pioneer in many fields: training and attracting high-quality human resources; exploiting potential, strengths and local resources; urban planning and development; harmoniously combining economic development with culture and society, improving the material and spiritual life of the people; ensuring national defense and security, social order and safety; building the Party and the political system; foreign relations; demonstrating a correct long-term vision with appropriate steps in each stage.

Thanks to that, the City has achieved outstanding achievements in many fields. The city's economy has achieved significant growth, averaging 5.51% in the 2021-2023 period. The gross regional domestic product (GRDP) per capita has increased steadily, reaching 4,537 USD in 2023.

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac emphasized that Da Nang needs to promote the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to innovate and daring to take responsibility of the Party Committee, cadres, Party members, especially the leaders.

The city's economic scale ranks 3rd out of 14 localities in the North Central and Central Coast regions. The economic structure has shifted towards strong development of service industries. Modern transport and urban infrastructure has been invested in and built to meet regional and international standards, creating a new look for Da Nang city. Culture and society have many progressive changes; education and training have been invested in and developed, aiming to become a regional training and scientific research center in a number of fields.

Da Nang has issued many breakthrough policies and solutions to ensure social security and improve the quality of people's lives. The work of building and rectifying the Party and a clean and strong political system has been given importance, with clear changes; the content and methods of work have been constantly innovated; the work of building and perfecting the political system's apparatus has been promoted towards streamlining, effective and efficient operations; there have been many innovations in personnel work, proactively decentralizing and delegating power in personnel management; promoting the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to innovate, daring to take responsibility of Party committees, cadres, and Party members, especially leaders; enhancing the exemplary role of cadres and Party members; strengthening inspection, examination, supervision, and the fight against corruption, waste, "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party.

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac also pointed out some limitations and difficulties of the city in some key areas of operation, suggesting some issues that the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee needs to focus on leading and directing implementation. The working group noted and summarized the recommendations of the leaders of Da Nang city to report to the Subcommittee on Documents of the 14th National Party Congress.
