Kinhtedothi - On March 7, at the 21st session (special session) of the People's Council of Binh Phuoc province, term X (term 2021-2026), elected the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
At the meeting, 100% of delegates voted to appoint Mr. Le Truong Son as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Le Truong Son was born in 1976, from Chau Thanh district, Dong Thap province, with a Bachelor's degree in economics and a Bachelor's degree in politics. Previously, he held many important positions such as Secretary of Dong Phu District Youth Union, Secretary of Binh Phuoc Provincial Youth Union, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of the province, Secretary of Dong Xoai City Party Committee and then Secretary of District Party Committee, Chairman of Loc Ninh District People's Committee.
Also at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Phuong Thao, Director of the Department of Finance, was appointed as a member of the Provincial People's Committee.
In addition, the Provincial People's Council also passed a resolution to dismiss Mr. Huynh Anh Minh from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term from March 7, 2025.
The meeting also dismissed the members of the Provincial People's Committee: Vo Tat Dung (former Director of the Department of Construction), Nguyen Quoc Dung (former Director of the Department of Planning and Investment), Phung Hiep Quoc (former Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs), Tran Van Huong (former Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment) and Bui Thi Minh Thuy (former Director of the Department of Science and Technology).
These changes mark an important transition in the province's leadership structure, towards optimizing local management and development.
