Mr. Dinh Van Dang was elected as a member of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the 21st session of the 16th Provincial People's Council held on the morning of August 22, the Provincial People's Council conducted the process of electing Mr. Dinh Van Dang, Chief of Office of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, to the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee. As a result, Mr. Dinh Van Dang received 47/47 votes in favor (100% of the votes).

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong introduced personnel for the meeting to elect members of the Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Dinh Van Dang, born in 1980, has a master's degree in transportation and a senior degree in political theory; before being assigned and appointed to the position of Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Dang held the position of Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ha district.

Delegates agreed with the proposed personnel plan.

The 21st session conducted the procedure to dismiss Mr. Ho Cao Khai, former Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, from the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee due to being assigned to other work.

Mr. Dinh Van Dang, Mr. Ngo Quyen and Mr. Tran Xuan Thao received congratulatory flowers from the Standing Committee of the People's Council and People's Committee of Lao Cai province.

Regarding the reorganization of the leadership positions of the Provincial People's Council, the 21st Session dismissed Mr. Tran Xuan Thao from the position of Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Committee due to his transfer and election to the position of Vice Chairman of the Bac Ha District People's Committee. At the same time, the session also carried out the procedure of dismissing Mr. Ngo Quyen from the position of Deputy Head of the Economic and Budget Committee and elected Mr. Ngo Quyen to the position of Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Committee.
