According to SCMP , the father, surnamed Zhang, in his 40s, suddenly felt shortness of breath and chest pain while tutoring his son - a junior high school student preparing for the high school entrance exam - in Zhejiang province, eastern China.
Mr. Truong was quickly taken to the emergency room and diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction.

Doctors at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital affiliated to Zhejiang University Medical College performed emergency coronary artery bypass surgery and successfully saved Mr. Zhang's life.
The cause of the heart attack is thought to be coronary artery disease, which is often aggravated by emotional stress.
Mr. Truong regularly supervised his son's studies and arranged revision sessions every night. The relationship between the two became strained as the teenager felt overwhelmed by the academic pressure imposed by his father.
Mr. Truong also registered his child for many exam preparation classes and personally took his child to and from school.
Mr. Zhang is one of many Chinese parents who have been hospitalized for health problems arising from the stress of tutoring their children.
In February, another father in Zhejiang was diagnosed with central serous retinitis pigmentosa, an eye disease that causes blurred vision and distorted objects, after becoming agitated while urging his third-grader son to finish his homework.
In 2018, a 33-year-old mother in Jiangsu province, eastern China, suffered a stroke after becoming angry with her daughter for taking too long to complete her homework before bedtime.
Because many teachers leave the responsibility of supervising homework to parents, Chinese parents often view their children's academic performance as a reflection of their own success.
They push their children to do well in school, believing that the national college entrance exam, known as the gaokao, is the only path to future success.
Competition for admission to top universities in China is getting fiercer every year, with more than 13 million students taking the exam nationwide this year.
Chinese education expert Ling Zongwei advises parents to control their emotions to create a healthier learning environment for their children and encourage them to take responsibility for their own homework and academic performance.
“This competitive educational environment is exhausting both children and parents,” one netizen commented.
