Nui Thanh creates momentum from mass mobilization work

The Resolution of the 22nd Congress of the Party Committee of Nui Thanh District (term 2020 - 2025) has clearly stated that the important task and solution throughout the term is to enhance the responsibility of the entire political system for mass mobilization work.

Focus on government mass mobilization in conjunction with administrative procedure reform. Strengthen dialogue and contact with the people, closely follow the grassroots, listen to their thoughts, promptly resolve their legitimate and legal aspirations. Continue to build and replicate the model of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in sectors, the Fatherland Front, and mass organizations.

Focus on government mass mobilization

Up to this point, many major projects of the Central and the province implemented in Nui Thanh district such as dredging the channel to Ky Ha port phase 2; investing in construction and business of infrastructure of THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park (451ha); improving the urban environment of Chu Lai Nui Thanh; Vo Chi Cong coastal road... have gradually removed difficulties and obstacles and gradually ensured completion progress.

From 2020 to 2023, the entire Nui Thanh district organized 127 counter-argument conferences (6 at district level, 121 at commune level); 121 forums to listen to people's opinions (10 at district level, 111 at commune level); 153 dialogue conferences between leaders of Party committees and authorities and people (8 at district level, 145 at commune level); 320 supervision meetings (46 at district level, 274 at commune level); 778 meetings with voters (44 at National Assembly, 35 at province level, 699 at district and commune level).

Mr. Le Van Sinh - Chairman of Nui Thanh District People's Committee said that recently, the whole district has focused on implementing administrative mass mobilization work according to the motto "people know, people discuss, people do, people check, people supervise, people benefit".

Nui Thanh has let the people know, discuss, give opinions, inspect and supervise in all areas of social life. Democracy is shown in compensation, site clearance, resettlement support; building new rural areas, model new rural areas.

In 2023, the administrative reform index of Nui Thanh district reached 88.8 points (an increase of 0.87 points compared to 2022, ranked 3rd/18 district-level localities, up 1 rank compared to 2022).

The remarkable achievement of mass mobilization in Nui Thanh is expanding democracy through contact, dialogue, listening, grasping thoughts and aspirations, promptly resolving difficulties and problems, ensuring the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people.

Since the beginning of the term, the district has organized 175 direct dialogue conferences between leaders of Party committees, authorities at all levels and sectors with the people on socio-economic development, culture, education, urban development, natural resources, environment, compensation, resettlement, granting of land use right certificates, security and order, and social security. Towards the base

The Standing Committee of Nui Thanh District Party Committee has maintained a regular quarterly working regime with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district and socio-political organizations; assigned the Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee to be in charge and the Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee to regularly coordinate, monitor and urge activities.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, the associations of farmers, women, veterans, and youth unions regularly innovate the content and methods of mobilizing the people; improve the quality of supervision and social criticism; diversify the ways to listen, collect, and synthesize opinions and recommendations of voters and people to promptly reflect to the Party and State; strengthen consultation and coordination of actions, creating the strength of the Front system from the district to the grassroots level.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu - Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Nui Thanh District Party Committee said that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district and associations and organizations have focused on building core grassroots forces, improving the quality of propaganda, mobilizing union members, association members and people to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies...

Social supervision and criticism activities in the area have become routine, gradually improving quality and efficiency, promoting the role of the people in contributing ideas to building the Party and building a clean and strong government.

Mr. Nguyen Tri An - Secretary of Nui Thanh District Party Committee said that the active innovation in the content and form of mass mobilization work of the Nui Thanh district political system has contributed to solving problems arising from the grassroots, contributing to the completion of local political tasks.

With the right policy, flexible solutions, focusing on the grassroots, taking the people as the center to carry out all tasks, Nui Thanh is continuing to innovate mass mobilization work in accordance with the reality of each commune and town in the new situation in the direction of "respecting the people, being close to the people, understanding the people, learning from the people and being responsible to the people".
