On October 10, Mr. Vo Loi, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Dam Doi District (Ca Mau) said that Phan Ngoc Hien Secondary School (Dam Doi Town, Dam Doi District) held a disciplinary council meeting to propose disciplinary action against a female student who beat up a classmate in class and those involved.
Previously, on October 8, a clip appeared on social media recording a fight between two female students. This clip was later determined to have occurred on October 7 at Phan Ngoc Hien Secondary School, Dam Doi District. The female student who beat her friend was identified as TTNK and the one beaten was NTV, both are students in class 8A. According to the school, the initial reason TTNK beat her friend was because she thought that her friends "didn't have a good impression of each other".

According to Mr. Vo Loi, while K. was beating V., there were 3 other female students who witnessed it but did not intervene; among them, NKN took out her phone to record a clip, while the other 2 stood and watched.
After school, NKN showed the clip of K. beating V. to his mother. N.'s mother then sent the clip to a family member, who, after watching it, posted it on social media. The clip then went viral.
Regarding this incident, Phan Ngoc Hien Secondary School established a disciplinary council and issued disciplinary measures for the 5 female students involved. Specifically, TTNK, who directly beat her friend, was suspended from school for 1 week, and a notice was sent to her family for supervision... Female student NTV, the female student who filmed the clip, and 2 female students who were watching were all reprimanded by the entire school and a notice was sent to their families for supervision and to monitor their progress.
