On June 18, social media shared a video of a female tourist recklessly jumping out onto the tracks to pose as a train was approaching, making viewers "heart-stopping".

According to research, the video was filmed at the train track coffee street section through Phung Hung (Hang Bong ward, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi).

Talking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Ngoc V. said that the man who rushed out to pull the female tourist inside was Mr. PH, 61 years old, Mr. V.'s father.

Mr. V. said the girl in the video is a foreigner. She and another person were walking along the railway tracks in the railway cafe neighborhood on the morning of June 17.

When the train arrived, residents and business owners asked tourists to stand in a safe area. However, the girl suddenly rushed out and stood on the tracks, intending to pose for a photo. The train continuously sounded its horn to signal danger.

Witnessing the tourist's reckless actions, Mr. H., who was standing on the side of the road, rushed to stop her and pulled the girl to the sidewalk before the train arrived.

The leader of Hang Bong Ward People's Committee said he was aware of the incident and directed inspection forces.

The train street coffee street, from Tran Phu to Phung Hung (Hoan Kiem district), is a place that attracts many domestic and international tourists. This place has appeared on many news sites and world newspapers because of its uniqueness and novelty.

However, from September 15, 2022, authorities have set up barriers and blocked both entrances to the railway coffee alley located on Tran Phu and Phung Hung streets following a document requesting "to thoroughly handle the situation of trading and taking photos at railway coffee spots" from Vietnam Railways Corporation.

Although there are barriers, warning signs and railway security guards on duty, visitors can still easily get inside with the help of the cafe owner or staff.

About 5 minutes before the train passed, shop owners started shouting and blowing whistles, asking their customers to move inside.

Last year, Hoan Kiem district requested Hang Bong, Cua Nam, Cua Dong, Hang Ma, and Dong Xuan wards to propagate and mobilize households living in the railway traffic corridor area to strictly comply with the Railway Law, ensuring security and safety of the railway traffic corridor.

The district police directed the ward police to continue to set up barriers, warning signs and organize forces to guard the area, not allowing tourists to enter, eat, drink, film, take photos... in the railway traffic safety corridor area.

Authorities of wards with railways passing through established a joint working group, set up checkpoints to inspect the implementation of business suspension, divided into 3 shifts, operating 24/7, to avoid the situation of illegal stores opening.
