NTO - Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee works with the Standing Committee of the Phan Rang City Party Committee

On February 22, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee had an online working session with the Standing Committee of the Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Party Committee on the results of leadership and direction in implementing the tasks of socio-economic development (SEDP) and Party building in the city in 2023; directions and tasks for 2024. Comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.

In 2023, the Party Committee of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City focused on leadership and direction to achieve and exceed 15/16 targets and plans. The socio-economic situation developed stably, grew well, and shifted in the right direction. Notably, it effectively implemented specific policies and mechanisms, mobilized and used resources to improve the quality of urban criteria, and built and developed Phan Rang - Thap Cham into a smart city; to date, it has basically achieved 54/63 criteria for type II urban areas and 41/63 criteria for type I urban areas. Management of urban order, land management, environmental sanitation, planning, administrative reform, and digital transformation have been strengthened. The situation of political security, order, and social safety has been maintained. The work of building a clean and strong Party and political system has been promoted.

In 2024, the city sets the goal of building a truly clean and strong Party organization and political system; continuing to improve and improve the quality of criteria for type II and type I urban areas; promoting the process of economic restructuring, making a breakthrough in trade and service development, in which the core is urban tourism development. Focusing on solutions, exploiting the potential and advantages of socio-economic development; developing Phan Rang - Thap Cham into a smart city. Innovating and improving the quality of Party building work in the entire political system; focusing on political and ideological education for cadres and party members, protecting the Party's ideological foundation. Promoting the combined strength of the entire political system, promoting the streamlining of the apparatus, preparing personnel for Party congresses at all levels.

Concluding the meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the achievements of the Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Party Committee in the past time. Regarding the tasks for 2024, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Standing Committee of the Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Party Committee to focus on leading, directing, mobilizing the participation of the entire political system, promoting the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the entire Party Committee and the people, proposing solutions to overcome limitations and difficulties, and performing well a number of key tasks: Effectively exploiting potentials and advantages; mobilizing and effectively using investment resources, focusing on accelerating the development speed, shifting the economic structure in the right direction, and sustainable development.
