At the meeting, Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan, Chairman of the Board of Members of TKV expressed his desire to choose Ca Na General Seaport of Trung Nam Ca Na International Port Joint Stock Company to receive coal from Quang Ninh and import coal from abroad to gather and transfer coal to the southern provinces to serve as fuel for the Thermal Power Plant. In addition to supplying coal, TKV will also transport Alumina from factories in the Central Highlands about 6 million tons/year, serving aluminum production and partly for export through Ca Na port. On that basis, the Group will have the next investment direction, to upgrade the port and warehouse infrastructure in the Ca Na Port area. Through the meeting, the Group hopes to have a unified plan, ensuring legal conditions according to regulations for convenient and effective investment. Trung Nam Ca Na International Port Joint Stock Company also agreed to the plan to hand over part of Ca Na Port phase 1, wharf 1A to the Group to continue investing in and completing to serve TKV's development strategy.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated TKV's determination to invest in Ninh Thuan province; at the same time, he introduced the strengths of Ca Na deep-water port and the development direction of the province's key economic zone in the South. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the two groups will soon reach an investment agreement for the common development of Ninh Thuan province. On the side of the Provincial People's Committee, he will direct the relevant agencies to accompany and support enterprises to complete legal procedures to soon deploy construction and put the project into operation, thereby promoting the investment efficiency of Ca Na Port, promoting socio-economic development in the locality.
