Efforts to develop student party members in Vu Quang

Along with improving the quality of teaching and learning, high schools in Vu Quang (Ha Tinh) pay special attention to the work of developing party members as students.

In order to create a source for Party development, in recent times, the Party Committee of Vu Quang High School has always paid attention to organizing many emulation movements, creating a positive environment for students to participate, contribute and assert themselves.

This is an effective way to help schools promptly detect positive "nuclei" to create a source for developing party members.

New party members at Vu Quang High School read the oath, promising to constantly strive in studying and training to always be worthy of being members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

By doing so, from the 2020-2021 school year up to now, Vu Quang High School has introduced 106 students who are outstanding masses to attend Party sympathy classes; admitted 22 outstanding masses into the Party (exceeding the target of admitting 7 Party members). In addition, the school has also completed the files for 45 masses and sent them to localities for continued monitoring and admission.

Mr. Le Van Trung - Vice Principal of Vu Quang High School said: "Determining that developing party members among students is an important task, the school's Party Committee has stepped up propaganda for union members, youth, and students about the regulations and conditions for Party admission. In addition, the school's Board of Directors regularly organizes practical activities such as talking about traditions, launching emulation movements, creating an environment for students to practice and strive. Therefore, in recent years, the rate of students admitted to the Party has exceeded the set target."

From the 2020-2021 school year up to now, Vu Quang High School has admitted 22 outstanding people into the Party.

Also according to Mr. Trung, closely following the direction of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, in the 2023-2024 school year, the school sent 31 people to participate in the Party sympathy class, and at the same time assigned party members to continue monitoring and organizing the application for admission for students when they meet the requirements.

Being admitted to the Party at school when she was just 18 years old, Nguyen Huong Ngoc Linh - a student of class 12A1, Vu Quang High School proudly said: "Being admitted to the Party when I was still a student is an honor and pride not only for me but also for my whole family. This is an important turning point in my life, a motivation for me to continue to try, make efforts to practice and study to realize my dream in the future".

At Cu Huy Can High School, the work of developing party members among students has always been focused on by the school and achieved many positive results. In order to create sources and develop party members among students, every year, the school's Board of Directors requires Party cells and the School Youth Union to focus on monitoring, reviewing, and searching for active "nuclei" to nurture and train them from the first days they enter school. Thanks to that, the number of students admitted to the Party has continuously increased in quantity and ensured quality.

From the 2020-2021 school year to present, Cu Huy Can High School has introduced 88 outstanding students to attend the Party sympathy class; admitted 20 outstanding students to the Party (exceeding the target of admitting 7 Party members). In the 2023-2024 school year alone, the school sent 34 outstanding students to attend the Party sympathy class.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Phong - Vice Principal of Cu Huy Can High School said: "Through monitoring, we have seen that students who were admitted to the Party at the school, after graduating, have promoted their role as Party members in the new environment well. Many Party members are excellent students in universities and are sent to study abroad, many of them have become the core in professional activities and movements in their work units.

This is a great source of pride for the school, motivating us to continue to "sow red seeds" and nurture "green shoots" for the Party in the future."

Mr. Nguyen Thieu Quang - Standing Deputy Secretary of Vu Quang District Party Committee said that Party development work is always considered a key and top priority task of each Party Committee, especially Party development among students, because this is a dynamic generation, the backbone of the country. In recent times, under the close direction of the District Party Committee, this work has received attention from Party Committees at all levels, especially Party cells and Youth Unions of high schools. Proof of this is that from the beginning of the term until now, out of a total of 226 Party members admitted in the whole district, 42 Party members are high school students.

“Admitting party members to students aims to arouse the desire to contribute from young people and spread love for the homeland. To do this, the entire political system of the district must participate. In particular, party cell secretaries, principals, and youth union secretaries of high schools need to take greater responsibility in this task, so that the work of developing party members in the area not only increases in quantity but also ensures quality,” emphasized Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee Vu Quang.
