Ninh Thuan develops tourism from sun and wind

Ninh Thuan is a province in the South Central Coast region, located in the national tourism cluster of the Da Lat - Nha Trang - Phan Rang tourism triangle, with a unique climate of little rain, much sunshine, and little affected by storms almost all year round, which geographers liken to "the only desert in Southeast Asia". This land of sunshine and wind is considered a unique destination in the chain of tourism products in the South Central region. This is a promising area, oriented to reach the world and the area for developing Vietnam's tourism in the coming time.

On March 28, 2018, the Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision on regulations on the mechanism for attracting high-class tourism development in Ninh Thuan province, thereby attracting many investors with many large-scale tourism projects. Up to now, the province has had 57 tourism service projects granted Investment Policy Decisions/Investment Registration Certificates, with a total registered capital of over VND 29,686 billion; of which 19 projects have been put into operation with a total registered capital of VND 3,180 billion. The tourist accommodation system continues to be developed, with the number of rooms with quality equivalent to 3 stars or higher accounting for over 50%. Ninh Thuan tourism images and tourist attractions have been known, voted by tourists and entered the top of the "World Tourism Map".

Ninh Thuan owns a coastal route of more than 100 km from Binh Tien district to Ca Na. This place has all the conditions and outstanding capabilities to develop tourism from different factors, creating unique tourism products. With a climate of 360 sunny days, Ninh Thuan is suitable for crops and livestock, such as grapes, apples, garlic, asparagus, aloe vera, sheep, goats... to grow and develop well, becoming a highlight brand for Ninh Thuan tourism.

The high mountain ranges facing the sea, creating bays and coves with blue sea, white sand, and golden sunshine, such as: Ninh Chu, Binh Tien, Ca Na, Nam Cuong sand dunes, Mui Dinh, Hang Rai... In which, Vinh Hy Bay is ranked as one of the 8 most beautiful bays in Vietnam. Nature also bestowed on Ninh Thuan land special ecological zones which are advantages for developing sea tourism, ecotourism and resorts and are a place to preserve the biodiversity of the forest ecosystem, the South Central Coast sea, with rare species of flora and fauna, including sea turtles. Ethnic culture is a strength for tourism development. Ninh Thuan has Cham tower architecture associated with the Kate Festival of the Cham people... with unique folk music and dance art, My Nghiep brocade weaving village, Bau Truc pottery village with long-standing traditions. In the mountainous areas, the Raglai, Koho, Churu ethnic groups... have many traditional festivals with unique cultural identities such as: Grave abandonment ceremony, rice-eating ceremony, with unique folk art, folk dance, folk music such as beating the grave, blowing the gourd flute, stone instrument, Chapi instrument. In the coastal areas, fishermen have fishing praying ceremonies, boat racing festivals, basket shaking, summer playing...

Ninh Thuan has all the conditions and outstanding capabilities to develop tourism, from the different factors that create unique tourism products, enhancing the competitiveness of tourism development in the trend of integration and development. Ninh Thuan is a province located in the middle of the tourism development triangle of Nha Trang - Phan Thiet - Da Lat in the South Central region, this is also a favorable condition to connect major tourist centers of the country.

Over the past 30 years, along with the innovation process of Ninh Thuan province, the tourism industry has made strong developments from exploiting potential to finding its own direction. In particular, the province has always focused on promoting the image of Ninh Thuan to become unique, creating a strong impression in the hearts of domestic and foreign tourists.
