(kontumtv.vn) – Late tears, sincere thanks to the authorities and Kon Tum Provincial Police are what A Nhanh and the victims shared after 3 days of returning from the “hell on earth” with the promise of “easy work , high salary” from cross-border scammers.

Although in recent times, the authorities, especially the Kon Tum Provincial Police, have increased propaganda, warnings, and recommendations for people to be vigilant against forms of job introduction on social networks, many people in the province are still gullible and fall into the traps of scammers. Mr. A Nhanh in Dak Na commune, Tu Mo Rong district, recalls horrifying memories: At first, they let me type on the computer and write articles, but I didn't understand anything and couldn't do it. They said if I didn't do it, I wouldn't be able to return to Vietnam, and if I didn't do it, they would beat me, even put an electric baton on my chest. When I escaped with A Kun, born in 2005, both living in Dak Na commune, but got separated, I just walked in the forest until I saw a paved road and caught a car to ask for help. They took me to the nearby Thai police station and gave me a Vietnamese interpreter to contact my family .

Ms. Y Dan - A Nhanh's sister said: " That day, I was at home when I heard Nhanh's phone ring, I was so happy thinking I could go home. Then I said I could run out but got lost and the police took me back to the commune. "

After 3 days of returning from the "hell on earth" with the promise of "easy work, high salary" from cross-border scammers, Mr. A Soi in Dak Mar commune, Dak Ha district is still in shock. Due to difficult family circumstances and his father's mental illness, A Soi believed the enticement to go to Cambodia to work. After a year of wandering and being beaten and tortured many times, A Soi was finally supported to return home to reunite with his family. Mr. A Soi in Dak Mar commune, Dak Ha district, said: " Before, I worked in Saigon with a low salary. I saw the invitations online so I registered and they took me to Cambodia to work for 4 months, I couldn't do it and they sold me to another company in Myanmar for another 7 months. The job is that every day you have to find customers, text and invite them, if there are no customers, they will beat you. "

A Nhanh and A Soi are two of four cases supported by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with the Provincial Police to return home safely. Previously, in February 2025, four Kon Tum citizens escaped after working at fraudulent companies in Cambodia. As soon as they received the information, the Provincial Police directed professional departments to quickly contact the victims' families to guide and persuade them to return home. Immediately after that, A Kun, born in 2005, and A Kien, born in 2005, both residing in Dak Na commune, Tu Mo Rong district, returned home safely through Le Thanh International Border Gate, Gia Lai province. On March 21, A Nhanh and A Soi returned to Vietnam and were supported to return to their localities on March 23./.
