It is forecasted that this year's Lunar New Year holiday will last 9 days, so people tend to choose 3-day 2-night or 4-day 3-night tours to visit and experience such as: Joining a provincial tour, visiting some historical sites, using restaurant services on Ha Long Bay or enjoying a vacation at entertainment areas, resorts, and health care. To ensure the reception and service of tourists during the peak of the Lunar New Year, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has also had a policy to encourage restaurants, eateries, and service establishments to open during all Tet holidays, especially on the 30th of December and the first day of Tet, and to arrange additional human resources during the peak of the Lunar New Year to ensure the best service quality for tourists. At the same time, coordinate with localities to strengthen the management and organization of festivals; ensure environmental sanitation, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, food safety and hygiene at festivals; promptly detect and handle superstitious activities and profiteering at relics and places of worship. Accommodation establishments and tourism service businesses in the province list prices, implement measures to manage and control the quality of tourism services and means of serving tourists, ensuring safety for tourists; strengthen control, ensure security, safety and fire prevention at hotels and restaurants. Tourist areas and attractions establish and publicly announce hotline numbers to handle arising situations and provide support when tourists have requests, ensuring that tourism activities take place in a civilized and safe manner, creating a good impression on tourists when coming to Quang Ninh.
