The event aims to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Union (October 14, 1930 - October 14, 2024) and the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
Attending the event were Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Nguyen Thi Lan Huong and many leaders and representatives of mass organizations.
The festival is not only an occasion for cultural exchange but also an opportunity to promote solidarity, improve skills in organizing patriotic emulation movements, and contribute to the campaign "Elegant and civilized Hanoians". The teams from the Vietnam Fatherland Front and other organizations brought many special performances, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, revolutionary traditions, and love for the homeland .
The program gathered 14 performances from 6 units. The Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the City Labor Federation, the Second Prize to the City Women's Union and the City Farmers' Association, and the Third Prize to the Hanoi Youth Union, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi, and the City Veterans' Association.
Speaking at the program, Chairman of the City Farmers' Association Pham Hai Hoa emphasized: “2024 is a year of special significance in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th Hanoi Party Congress. This is also the year to celebrate many major events such as the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory Day and the Liberation Day of the Capital.”
The Chairman of the City Farmers' Association also said that in 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have made efforts to innovate the way of organizing emulation movements, especially movements such as "Good people, good deeds", "For the poor - no one is left behind", and "Capital Initiatives and Creativity". These efforts have significantly contributed to building the Capital to be more and more civilized, civilized, and modern.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the City People's Committee to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No. 34-CT/TW of the Politburo on innovation in emulation and reward work.
The Organizing Committee also awarded 10 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding contributions in implementing Directive 34.
Within the framework of the program, on the evening of September 11, the City Farmers' Association also organized the event: "Capital Farmers' Singing 2024".
