Many activities at the 70th anniversary of the North Rally

On September 18, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to hold a press conference for the third quarter and provide information on activities commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Northward Rally (1954-2024).

At the press conference, Mr. Tieu Minh Tien, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, said that the 70th anniversary of the Northern Rally with the theme "Determining the Day of Reunification" will take place from November 10-25, 2024 with many meaningful activities, aiming to arouse the spirit of great solidarity, self-reliance and aspiration for national development.

Accordingly, the 70th anniversary of the Northward gathering event will take place from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on November 23 at the Northward gathering train monument (Song Doc town, Tran Van Thoi district). The celebration program is associated with a theatrical art program recreating the history, land, and people of Ca Mau; the heroic history of revolutionary struggle in the struggle for national liberation, as well as in the construction and development of Ca Mau homeland in the integration period.

Within the framework of the celebration, Ca Mau province also organized a scientific seminar with the theme: "200 days of gathering to the North in Ca Mau - strategic vision and historical value" taking place on November 22 at the Provincial Convention Center (Ca Mau City) with the scale of 300 delegates; activities to recreate the 200 days of gathering to the North in 1954; a trade fair taking place from November 17 to November 27 in Song Doc town (Tran Van Thoi district) with more than 200 booths.

In addition to the above activities, Ca Mau province also organizes many attractive activities such as mobile art programs; Marathon - Ca Mau 2024 PETROVIETNAM Cup; sports activities (Vo Loi Racing Festival, Art Kite Festival) ...

Also according to Tieu Minh Tien, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, the event commemorating the 70th anniversary of the regrouping to the North was organized to propagate and educate historical traditions, patriotism, national pride and self-respect; to deepen the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", to arouse the spirit of great solidarity, the will to be self-reliant and the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country.

Through the activities of the event to introduce and promote the homeland and people of Ca Mau as brave, resilient, friendly and hospitable, ... contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
