(Dan Tri) - Singer Jimmii Nguyen has just announced the Du ca series of programs that he has been nurturing for over 20 years. The opening number of this series is Tran - Nguyen du ca, marking the return of musician Tran Tien.
The program will take place at the Opera House Garden on the evening of January 19, 2025. At the program introduction, musician Tran Tien said there was only one simple reason why he agreed to return: "Because Jimmii is my younger brother!".
Jimmii Nguyen has been with musician Tran Tien since the first days he returned to Vietnam. The male singer said he had the idea of a concert together 20 years ago, but due to many objective and subjective reasons, he could not carry it out.
Over the years, Jimmii Nguyen and his wife Ngoc Pham have often visited musician Tran Tien's house in Vung Tau to visit, sing, and share stories about life and career.

An indispensable part of Tran Tien's music nights is his improvisation and performance. In addition, Jimmii Nguyen revealed that he will introduce to the audience the most rustic versions of his career hits. These songs are familiar to the audience through their well-arranged arrangements, but will be performed in their most primitive and unfamiliar versions in the upcoming show.
Director Huy Nguyen said the highlight of the show will be the dialogue between two versions of Jimmii Nguyen, two decades apart, a dialogue about both music and life experiences. Van Hugo will host the show.
The organizers will donate part of the revenue to the book library or clean water project at the place where the program is held. The biggest wish of the crew is to spread the main spirit of the troupe, which is to sing for everyone, sing for everyone.
On this occasion, Jimmii Nguyen released his autobiography Journey to the Stars , written by himself, recounting his life and musical journey through the lens of the child within.
