On the evening of April 6, singer-songwriter Vo Viet Phuong, born in 2003, and the Guitar Club of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law will organize a music night called Summer Sunshine. Notably, the proceeds from the music night will be donated to the Com co thit fund (Fund for poor students in mountainous areas) and Nu cuoi rice restaurant (Lotus Fund).

Summer Sunshine is a completely free music night for students organized by singer-songwriter Vo Viet Phuong and the Guitar Club of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law right at the school.
The music night featured performances by singer Grey D (former member of Monstar group), singer Nicky (former member of Monstar group) as MCs, along with many guest clubs from universities in Ho Chi Minh City such as Hong Bang University, University of Economics, etc.
The Summer Sunshine music night is directed by musician Nguyen Dan.
“We young people practice diligently, hoping to bring the best musical experience to the audience. A night of enjoying music and doing good for the community is what we aim for” - Vo Viet Phuong expressed.

Passionate about music since he was very young, Viet Phuong is a former IT student at the Gifted High School (Ho Chi Minh City National University). With good academic achievements, Viet Phuong once had the opportunity to study abroad in the US, but he decided to stay in Vietnam to pursue music. Currently, Vo Viet Phuong is a student at RMIT University. He is no longer a strange name to professionals and young music lovers.
Viet Phuong became known to the audience at the age of 17 after composing the song Goodbye, Father, in memory of 13 officers and soldiers who died in the landslide at Ranger Station 67 (Phong Dien District, Thua Thien Hue). In 2020, the male singer and musician was nominated for Inspirational Character of the Year at the WeChoice Awards. After that, he continued to make his mark with profound, heart-touching songs such as: Roi Hundred Years We Meet Again - a song inspired by the love of the artist couple Chi Tai - Phuong Loan; Nhung Ngay Pho Sick - a song released during the Covid-19 pandemic...

This summer, Vo Viet Phuong officially launched the Vo Viet Phuong Unitour project in collaboration with music clubs from universities in Ho Chi Minh City. Summer Sun is part of the Vo Viet Phuong Unitour project. According to the male singer, from now until the end of the year, he will continue to organize 2 more music nights corresponding to the fall and winter seasons and the program is expected to continue with meaningful music nights next year.
According to the young musician, the shows in the project do not sell tickets, but for each registration to attend the music night, the organizers contribute 40,000 VND to the charity fund Com co thit and Nu Cuoi rice restaurant.
