According to the updated medal tally of the 32nd SEA Games organizing committee as of 7 p.m. on March 12, the Thai athletics team leads with 16 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 4 bronze medals. The Vietnamese team ranks second with 12 gold medals, 20 silver medals and 8 bronze medals. The third place is the Indonesian team with 7 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 9 bronze medals.
