Luo Dengpin (43 years old), a Miao ethnic, from Guizhou province, China, is nicknamed "spider man" because of his special abilities.
She surprised many people with her "talent" of climbing a cliff over 100m high, equivalent to a 30-story building, without encountering any difficulty.
Luo is believed to be the only woman still practicing the ancient Miao tradition of bare-handed mountain climbing.
She started climbing at the age of 15, under the guidance of her father. Initially, she wanted to prove that women could do what men could do.
“They say this is only for boys, but I believe that men and women are equal. So I learned how to climb mountains.
Foreigners are often scared when they see us climbing with our bare hands, but I'm used to this job," Luo shared.
She used to climb cliffs to collect bird droppings to use as fertilizer, but now this job is no longer necessary.
Nowadays, Luo climbs mountains as a show to attract tourists.
"Many tourists want to see how I pick herbs and pay me to perform. My income is not high but I am proud to be a spider woman," she shared.
Her story has attracted attention on Chinese social media, with many expressing admiration for Luo's spirit.
