According to Vietlott, the man said the first thing he would do after receiving the prize was to buy a house for his children and grandchildren before the Lunar New Year. This is something he has long wished for because his family of 20 people, three generations, have been living together in the same house for many years. His children are also freelancers, and their income is only enough to cover their daily expenses, so they cannot save money to buy a house in Ho Chi Minh City.
After paying 10% personal income tax, this customer will actually receive about 86.5 billion VND. He also donated a portion of the bonus to charity, including 500 million VND to the Tam Tai Viet Fund and 50 million VND to the seller of the winning Jackpot ticket.
The lucky Jackpot ticket was bought by him at point of sale 6 lot D, Lac Long Quan apartment building, ward 5, district 11, Ho Chi Minh City.
After more than 6 years of operation, Vietlott has recorded more than 90 million winning tickets with a total payout of more than 15,277 billion VND. Of which, the lottery products Mega 6/45 and Power 6/55 have more than 300 tickets winning the billion-VND Jackpot.
