VinFast Minio Green opens for early pre-orders.

VinFast, the electric vehicle brand of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, has officially launched its first pre-order period for the Green series through its distribution partner GSM from March 17th to March 24th, 2025.

The total discount reaches up to VND 22.5 million per vehicle, along with a free battery charging policy at V-Green stations until the end of June 2027, helping to keep operating costs almost zero for the next two years.

Motorcycle deposit, future car ownership.

Specifically, VinFast 's Minio Green, a minicar with a starting price of just 269 million VND (including battery), is currently the smallest model offered by the company.

Customers who place an early deposit enjoy many benefits. The company offers a 5 million VND discount on the Minio Green, free color selection, and a 10-12% discount on registration fees until February 28, 2027. The total discount can reach up to 22.5 million VND per vehicle, applicable to the first customers who place a deposit.

Other models in the Green line also receive attractive discounts: Herio Green (refined from VF5) and Nerio Green (developed based on VF e34) are discounted by 10 million VND, while Limo Green, VinFast's first 7-seater multi-purpose MPV, is discounted by up to 15 million VND.

In addition, customers in Hanoi who register their license plates before January 2026 will receive an extra discount of 2.5 - 7.5 million VND depending on the vehicle model, which can be converted into VinClub points for use within the Vingroup ecosystem. Especially, the policy of free battery charging at V-Green stations until the end of June 2027 means that usage costs will be almost zero for the next two years.

Specifically for the Minio Green, VinFast offers installment loans of up to 90% of the vehicle's value for a maximum of 5 years. With just an initial down payment of 26.4 million VND, equivalent to the price of a common motorbike, customers can own a 4-seater car, suitable for both personal use and transportation businesses. Customers also get to choose two exterior paint colors free of charge: tropical jade and rose metallic.

The Green range of vehicles not only scores points with its competitive pricing but also boasts an impressive warranty policy. Minio Green, Herio Green, and Limo Green are covered by a 7-year or 160,000km (whichever comes first) warranty for the vehicle and an 8-year unlimited mileage warranty for the battery.

Specifically for Nerio Green, if purchased for business use, the warranty period is up to 10 years or 200,000km for both the vehicle and the battery.

Running a revenue-sharing service generates 90% of the income.

Specifically, GSM commits to sharing 90% of fixed revenue for 3 years with drivers who purchase Green vehicles and operate on the Green SM Platform in 2025. With an average revenue of 700,000 VND/day, drivers can recoup their investment in Minio Green in just over 15 months; Herio Green in 23 months, Nerio Green in 26 months, and Limo Green in 27 months if they achieve a revenue of 1 million VND/day. This is a superior revenue sharing rate compared to other platforms, which only provide a maximum of 75% of revenue to drivers.

With its compact size and four-seat capacity, the Minio Green is designed specifically for urban commuting. Many ride-hailing drivers are discussing this model enthusiastically. Driver Hoang Tien (Ho Chi Minh City) shared that with a daily revenue of just 700,000 VND, he can recoup his investment in over 15 months.

The free charging policy until 2027 helps save millions of VND per month compared to gasoline. Minio Green's expected fare of 8,000 - 9,000 VND/km is competitive, suitable for short distances, and protects against sun and rain, making it a viable alternative to motorbikes.

Sales policies and pricing help electric vehicles become more competitive.

The Minio Green electric scooter is equipped with a 20kW motor, 65nm torque, a top speed of 80 km/h, and a range of 170km on a single charge. According to many drivers, the initial investment of 26.4 million VND plus a loan of over 200 million VND, with monthly installments of over 5 million VND over 5 years, is a more accessible price compared to traditional gasoline-powered scooters (typically 350-400 million VND for used ones).

After March 24th, the early deposit program ends, and the Green models will be widely available at VinFast showrooms and authorized distributors at the listed prices: Minio Green 269 million VND, Herio Green 499 million VND, Nerio Green 668 million VND, and Limo Green 749 million VND.

The expected handover time for Herio Green and Nerio Green is April 2025, while Minio Green and Limo Green will be delivered to customers in August 2025.
