According to Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc - Chairman of the Council of the University of Technology, VNU Hanoi, the rate of high excellent scores and low below average scores is in the social sciences. Meanwhile, the rate of below average scores in natural sciences such as mathematics and physics is higher than other subjects.

In physics, the whole country had 55 scores of 10, a decrease of 15 candidates compared to 2023. However, the average score increased from 6.57 to 6.67.
