Literature and geography increase good scores

Through studying the score distribution, Associate Professor - Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, Principal of Hanoi National University of Education, assessed that this year's score distribution is quite good.

Specifically, the score distribution of some subjects is very good, typically history. In addition, the score distribution of English has also begun to have more positive changes compared to previous years.

According to Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc - Chairman of the Council of the University of Technology, VNU Hanoi, the rate of high excellent scores and low below average scores is in the social sciences. In particular, the scores of literature and geography are leading with the number of excellent scores increasing. Meanwhile, the rate of below average scores in natural sciences such as mathematics and physics is higher than other subjects.

There is no 10 in math this year, the highest score is 9.8 points.

This year's literature subject increased by 1 point 10. The highest score a student achieved was 8 points.

In physics, the whole country had 55 scores of 10, a decrease of 15 candidates compared to 2023. However, the average score increased from 6.57 to 6.67.

This year, chemistry has seen a "shower" of 10s increase dramatically.

In biology, 42 candidates received a score of 0, and the score of 10 in this subject also decreased significantly.

As experts commented, this year's history subject has had very positive changes. The 10 points have also increased significantly.

7.25 points is the score most candidates achieved in geography.

Civics leads in score of 10. Nationwide, 32 candidates got 0 points in this subject.

According to the score spectrum, the average foreign language score of candidates nationwide is 5.51. The highest score achieved by a candidate is 4.6 points.
